How City Loop Recycling handles the personal information you give us.
City Loop Recycling (ABN 72 696 526 860) operates from Truganina, Victoria. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who sees it and how to contact us about it.
What we collect
When you email or call us, or use the form on this website, we collect the information you choose to provide. The form opens your own email app with your request filled in; nothing is sent until you press send, and then it comes to us by email at waste@citylooprecycling.com.au. Its fields ask for:
- your name and, if you give it, your business name
- your phone number and email address
- your suburb or postcode
- what you need (a collection, IT disposal or refurbished IT), the type and rough quantity of items, a preferred date and any notes you add
You don't have to give us your details, but we may not be able to quote for or arrange a collection without them.
Why we collect it
We use your details to reply to you, prepare a quote, arrange and carry out collections, provide data disposition and answer refurbished IT enquiries. We don't sell your personal information, and we only use it for other purposes if you agree or the law allows it.
Who sees it
Enquiries sent by email (including from the website form) or by phone are handled by City Loop Recycling and the providers used to deliver those communications, such as your and our email providers and our website host. We share personal information only as needed to handle your enquiry, with your consent, or where required or authorised by law.
Data on devices you give us
If you give us devices for IT asset disposition, ask us about data disposition for them. We hold Blancco certification for ITAD.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we delete or de-identify it when we no longer need it.
